(August 30- September 4, 2013)
^^ For our anniversary we decided to take a little weekend getaway to Kansas City. We stayed on the plaza and did lots of shopping and lots of eating! Charlie was a champ in the terrible heat! Luckily a little storm rolled through on our second day there and cooled things off a bit.
^^ My boys were worn out! Charlie was loving hotel living.
^^ Waiting outside the museum for it to open. Trav's feeding Charlie sour patch kids. He loved them.
* There is going to be a separate post for the museum and aquarium. Toooooo many photos.
^^ Charlie is a great napper...at home...in his swing. But not so much anywhere else so we just took the little naps where we could get them!
^^ Every morning we would go down to breakfast and Charlie was quite the little cutie. All the other guests were loving on him. But how could you not?!
^^ Just starting to sit up while we were there-now he's sitting up straight all by himself!
^^ Vacation with a baby is definitely harder than without but so much more fun too! I would say the hardest part (aside from the napping) is that we had our stroller with us which meant lots of elevators. Sometimes they are hard to find! But we loved having our little buddy with us.
^^ We had lots of fun walking around and checking out everything there was to see.
^^ Family selfie on Labor Day!
^^ Anniversary dinner at Cheesecake Factory. This cute little kid came over and asked if we wanted him to take a picture of all three of us.
^^ This one cracks me up. Look at that side eye. What a cutie.
^^ We visited the Kansas City temple on our way home. Beautiful!
^^ We also went to Liberty Jail. It was really cool and I'm glad we got to go.
^^ We were pretty tired after five days of vacation so we let Charlie drive us home. He is seven months now after all. ;)
