This is Charlie's best buddy, Max. These were taken almost four months ago and now these boys are so big!! We are so lucky to have good friends here!

Chicago

(April 18-21, 2014)

Over Easter weekend we took a little trip to Chicago. We had so much fun even though it was still a little chilly.

^^ We didn't pack a warm enough sweater for Charlie so in the mornings when it hadn't warmed up enough we wrapped him up like a baby burrito and he obviously loved it. Haha.

^^ Charlie is a very good napper, in a crib in a quiet room. So we were planning to go back to our hotel for naps during the day, but he surprised us by falling (and staying) asleep while we walked all over Chicago. Apparently he loves the city. ;)

^^ Gap was handing out balloons and Charlie carried that thing all over the city.

^^ We saw all kinds of new and different things while we were there but I think this takes the cake. A stroller for a dog. Equal parts cute and totally nuts.

^^ The view from the 94th floor of Hancock Tower. I've always been a country girl but this view...man it's a good one. 

^^ Thanks for carrying our shopping bags all across Chicago for us kid. ;)

^^ Happy Easter! Have a donut!

^^ We got to visit some cousins who live in Chicago for Easter dinner. It was nice to spend time with family! And Charlie liked their toys.

^^ Slept all the way there, and all the way home! Just how we like it!
