Hospital stay

The next few photos were taken with my phone and they are out of order but it's SO annoying to move them around so just pretend ok?

A little splotchy after the trauma of being born!

I started feeling like a human again and thought it needed to be documented. :)

Charlie has super scratchy nails and they grow super fast! At the hospital we didn't have any mittens yet so we improvised.

The next few were his first few hours at home!

These are the very first pictures of Charlie taken with our camera. At this point I was still pretty drugged up but I just remember feeling so happy that I could finally look at that sweet face that I had been dreaming about for months and months!

 One day old. Trav pulled out the camera and took some photos of the little chub.

 Trav actually gave him his first bath but there are no photos since I was still out of it in recovery when that happened. Haha. Here is a pic of his second bath. He was obviously thrilled.

 The day we finally got to take him home! We stayed in the hospital three days because of the c-section and we were glad to get out of there. It was nice to have help from all the nurses but mostly it was just annoying that they had to keep jabbing me in the stomach every two hours.
