Catch up...

So it's been a while since I blogged last but I've been busy! Growing a human is much harder than it looks! But since that human is going to be here in eight short weeks and I want to blog a lot more once he gets here (because let's face it, babies are adorable) I really need to catch up on everything that has happened since July. It's mostly just going to be a flood of pictures so prepare yourself!

Here we go!

We went home to Idaho in July. Travis only got to be there for the weekend but I stayed for about three more weeks after he left.

Hallie has the sweetest little smile ever! It was so fun to get to meet her-we love her little personality. These next few pictures were taken the day that Taylor spoke in church.

I don't know how to edit this dumb picture so sorry but this is the only one I have of the whole family!

We were so lucky we got to not only meet Hallie but Nels too! And just look at the kid. Adorable.

Sweet Sonora! Don't we have cute nieces and nephews?!

Lots of time at the lake and I was in heaven!

Huckleberry picking! Yum.

Got to go to the lake with the Roes too before Taylor left!

Annie is a pro wakeboarder!

Camping at the lake! Best weekend ever! Livvy, Daniel, Darcy, Joes, Jen, Steph, Ben and Chelsea all came and it was such a blast! And the kids too. :)

Matching skeleton jammies-happy little campers!

Then it was time for the Watson cousin get together! More fun at the lake!
Rocco and Roman lovin the tube!

Nice shades Ikey!

Maggie, Jen, Lulu, and Morgan on the tube. Cute girls!

This was so funny! Nat, Ezzy and Ellie on the tube. He was not sure he liked it...

But then he decided it was ok!

He sure liked driving the boat! Just kidding, it was hooked to the dock and not even turned on.

Stealing from my mom's raspberry patch! :) Those were some really good berries!

Stealing from Annie's in law's patch! Shhh, don't tell.

I just couldn't get over how pretty Idaho is! I didn't realize how much I missed the mountains!

We ate about a million snowcones! That was seriously like the number one thing on my list going home to Idaho. People in the midwest do NOT know how to make snowcones. It's a real shame. But I think we got our fill while I was there. :)

Jake, Maggie, Ellie, Ava and Ezra took me to dinner before I left. Miss these cute faces.

Oh Nels. Just melts me.

Another trip to the lake before I left! Daniel and Darcy on the tube!

Then the last weekend I was there Andrea got married! It was so fun to see all the cousins and be there for her wedding!

Bekah, Me, Andrea, and Annie! Can't believe Annie is getting married next week!

This is what I came home to! Safe to say Trav missed me a little.

Well you made it! That was a lot of pictures! Just putting all these together makes me miss Idaho so bad! I am so excited we are going home next week!

Chicago

Alright alright. I know I haven't blogged for almost a month! But seriously nothing exciting has been happening for a while and I am spending all my energy planning out my days in Idaho! Haha. Only a few more days people! Here is the proof that nothing super cool has happened since my last post:

We got a couch. So that's pretty cool but not a whole blog post cool.

We went to the hot air balloon races. Really fun but so hot outside.

Trav and Phoebe watching big sister on the swings.

These are our new adopted nieces. Haha. Trav is holding Phoebe and Olivia is in the blue shirt next to him.

And that's about it people!

Now for the fun part! We went to Chicago! It's seriously such a cool city. We didn't see very much of it but I already love it! I can't wait to go back. I know there are sketchy parts of town but we were pretty much right downtown the whole time and this city has such a cool vibe. I couldn't get over how huge it is! We went with some cousins, Larkin and Cody and met up with more cousins, Rob and Stacie and their little cutie Logan. It's so great to have family out here! It was a good weekend.

Driving in! Hi Chicago!

This was the first night and it was over 100 degrees with the humidity. So gross but little Logan didn't seem to mind!

Chicago style pizza!

I learned I'm not a huge fan of deep dish pizza but you have to at least try it right?

My first Dunkin' Donuts experience. There really is one on about every corner!

The Cloud Gate! This was really cool!

We were in the theatre district I guess they call it? Trav told me some statistic about it but now I can't remember!

Navy Pier!

This was our view from the water taxi. That was really cool and gave us a nice break from all the walking we did!

And the water taxi again. We were pretty tired at this point if you can't tell! Haha.

We had a lot of fun and now we are just counting down the days until we get to see everyone in Idaho! Sorry everyone but we are most excited to see our new niece and new nephew who we have never met! We can't wait!
